"If a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it's as though I've neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up"

Richard Avedon

I'm a freelance Photographer/Designer
working in West Yorkshire

(a true Yorkshire lass - so apologies for the accent!)

I studied photography for 4 years and have worked in the design industry for over 12 years - four of those as a studio manager. I set up Cheesy Rabbit at the start of the year with the support of some fantastic clients and I am loving it!

If you have a look at my portfolio (that is if you haven't already) you will see that I have been working on a range of projects for a wide array of clients. I am self taught in design & multimedia but have worked with some great designers that have certainly influenced me.

The Real Cheesy (Cheesy) Rabbit

I am always asked where the name Cheesy Rabbit came from, so let me introduce you to Tansy, our rabbit, who only had a short life but hopefully a good one.

Whenever you lifted the lid of his run he was there begging to be picked up. He was a cuddly rabbit and when he got hot he looked like he was smiling, which led to the old "say cheese" line when being photographed. Tansy became our cheesy cheesy wabbit, and then every rabbit we saw after that - only to my sister and me, I might add!

Have you ever notice the cheesy cheesy rabbit infront of the train on Turner's "Rain, Steam and Speed - The Great Western Railway" painting? Yes he's there...

Anyway enough of my ramblings... if you need to know more why not get in touch.
